Not at all bad, the now: 5.1C and quite sunny. However, there appears to be a bunch of thundery-looking showers approaching from the north.

Hi peeps Hey guys how are you all? I have not been here for ages hope everyone is good. It was back in March since I was posting quite a lot here but since then apart from one or two hellos I have been away. 

Well I am back and my chase for Snow has started again, I suppose it's the first blast of cold weather that has bought me back. Let's see what the coming months bring for us collies. Anyway I am at work right now in Upton Park East London quite sunny at the moment. There are reports of snow already falling in the BIRMINGHAM area. We are due some showers later so let's see what they throw at us.

Anyway peeps I will be back here soon hope you all have a great Saturday.

Photo taken last night above halesworth as I went dog walking, the rainbow went up through the clouds and came down several miles away, was stunning to see it, but was a quick walk in order to avoid the rain inside it. 

Cold showery walk this morning around 7am but has since been largely blue skies but that wind is a wee bit chilly.

Just back from a leisurely stroll through Hastings' stunning Alexandra Park and followed it up with a couple of hours on the seafront and was surprised it didn't feel as cold as I was expecting.

I'm the first to admit I don't cope well with cold weather, due in part to health issues and I'm currently taking medication for a Copd flare up and chest infection so wasn't looking forward to this weekend given the forecast.

However, despite temperatures locally of 8.2c it felt pleasant enough under mostly blue skies and a fairly light breeze. Feeling refreshed and better already.

Would you believe it, snowing just north of Peterborough, not settling however! What a start to early winter though!

Yeah I just dropped in here to see if any snow was cropping up-

50/50 for me - 

just about to go home - expecting a temp of around 4c & around 3c on the west kingsdown tops

Heavy sleet here on drive home from training. Clearly visible on car windscreen and temp of 3c 

Quite remarkable for October, let’s hope February 2019 follows suit just like February 2009 did after the October snow of 2008

My Facebook page did it's Reminder thing today and I was reminded that on this day 6 years ago, it was snowing and settling where I lived back then in Northwood, North West London.

It was a rare event in that neck of the woods at that time year.

Dull day here, quite cold, constant cloud cover and not even any rain/sleet, fizzles out before it reaches me, more chance of rain in my area overnight/sunday morning time last I checked!

Evening all! Extremely fortunate all day on the East Sussex coast, a pic from the final stage of the Beachy Head marathon, we bought up the rear guard of those walking it , 7hrs 45mins, about 10min improvement on last year! I’ll stand down snow watch for here tonight since I don’t think we’re in with a shout;all the best for those who are though!
