Svalbard and the Alps on the other hand are giving us some virtual snow fall on the webcams although it does rather come and go this early in the season.

Do you have any links for those? Cheers

On the phone so can't dig them out right now but will post some later - I become a snow webcam fanatic in the winter!

In the meantime, the Garsons Farm Christmas display is shaping up nicely

Right, here is the list:

Les Arcs (currently lovely and sunny): https://www.lesarcs.com/livecam-vagere.html#ong333

Alpe D'Huez: https://www.alpedhueznet.com/webcams/dmc-mid-station

Edelweisspitze: https://edelweissspitze.panomax.com/

Obertauern: https://www.bergfex.com/obertauern/webcams/

Stelvio: http://www.stelvio.net/english/webcam/

Iceland: https://www.livefromiceland.is/webcams/jokulsarlon/

Svalbard: http://longyearbyen.kystnor.no/

Finland: https://www.rovaniemi.fi/layouts/rovaniemi/includes/360/lordi-aukio.asp?sek=10

For all of those, I click around the related webcams, so for example Edelweisspitze has a lot of webcams around Mannlichen, Jungfrau etc.

Many of these I have gathered from the lovely folks on the Worldwide Snow thread, especially @carinthian @Blessed Weather @johnholmes and @Paul. It is an excellent thread for snow enthusiasts. Also, OnTheSnow have a good list.

Enjoy:)

Off next week...kind of hoping these warm weather hints stay put!

As we have already had a frost / ground or two it would be a proper Indian summer next week !

Foggy first thing here, then low cloud, now trying to break up a bit. 17C currently with a moderate SW’ly breeze.

Yesterday morning it was misty with low cloud and today there is no-descriptive weather in South Ockendon. I prefer proper dense fog or low lying fog.  I remember in May 2004 I got lost in a fog as I was new in the area and kept walking in circles but it was fun.

What a beautiful day today turned out to be, enjoyed a couple of hours in the garden with my youngest , a managed to mow the lawn without having to wear a jumper , I hear it could warm up again next week and look forward to that after the wet period starting tomorrow, Today is also I’ve really noticed the nights drawing in probably down to making the most of the weather and being off of work today .

Regards Mark

I've just got home from a very pleasant drive and occasional stroll around in the warm Autumn sunshine taking in some of the many delights on offer here in East Sussex.

I Set off from home in St Leonards on Sea, ending up at Birling Gap and the Seven Sisters, via Normans Bay, Pevensey Castle, Eastbourne, Beachy Head and Belle Toute.

Great to see so many smiling faces out and about making the most of the good weather, 20.8c locally B)

Sounds lovely! did some of that route on foot (the seven sisters and onwards to Lewes) last Saturday training for the Beachy Head marathon end of October, last year the weather was peachy perfect hoping for the same this year, but fear the worst rain and gales coming I feel it in my waters!
