a blustery day out, if this continues into October then there will be no fog, although someone in the MOD thread mentioned that snow is already showing up on the models for next month, his username had blizzard in it though

What, you mean the 'summer rolls on thread' while these islands get battered by atlantic storms.

Yes, I noticed someone going on about blizzards in Scotland.... I left at that stage.

Strange day, feels warm and there’s plenty of sunshine but it’s blowing a hoolie

My plums are bruised from all the movement. Hope your melons make it through the day

I'd love to see your melons lass, are they ripe yet?

Really mild here too but a bit cloudy, 22c....May get the old BBQ going later on.

Bits of trees down all around here, both journeys today I’ve had sticks come down on top of my car, made a lot of noise but thankfully no damage. If the winds are predicted to be stronger tomorrow night and Sunday, I imagine driving might be a bit hazardous

It also snowed on 28th October 2008 here and remnants were still on the ground on the morning of the 30th

Pretty blustery here today, as well.

Wife slaving away in the kitchen again. After her amazing Spaghetti Carbonara on Monday, she has turned her hand to a Lasagna, tonight. The smell of the Ragu permeating out of the kitchen is amazing and making my mouth water, can't wait to get stuck into it!! :gathering:

Regards,

Tom. :hi:

I do not understand why tomorrow for Thurrock, Havering and surrounding areas has a Yellow wind warning, when the wind speeds and gusts are lower than today's winds.

Aw, I spent many childhood weekends running around Sandy Lane while staying with relatives, ended up in the pond a few times.

Really gusty here today, all the runner bean cane frames are  all learning at the allotment, they've sort of become parallelograms, think a few might be lost by Friday morning.

Yet another really muggy night, just passed. Can't wait for the fresher air to arrive tomorrow, even if we have to go through a bit of wind and rain, tonight. Thankfully, some proper Autumnal weather on our doorstep, at last!!

Regards,

Tom. :hi:☔
