Another lovely start to the day with only some intermittent high cloud , a little bit of a breeze blowing this morning which has helped cool down the house a little bit .

Did it get put out Alexis?

A high of 30c here today. Off to London tomorrow and not looking forward to the heat on the underground!

Yep about 10 mins after it started, something tells me it wasn't planned. But at least the grass isn't as dry as it was.

First photo is Beesands this morning at 5am with the sun coming up as I was up bright and early for sea fishing. The second photo is Salcombe yesterday with the mist in the background.

That Salcombe shot could easily be of somewhere in the Mediterranean!

It could, the sea was so blue and clean. I took it off the back of the ferry back to Kingsbridge.

A much more bearable day today heat wise.  Humidity isn't as bad, so no longer sitting in a pool of sweat and a pleasant breeze blowing through the house. Hoping to get a better night sleep later

Last Friday?

No last night. All the way home until I got to near Hastings. The humidity has drove me potty today, the clouds have kept the heat in and it driven me mad.

I find today more bearable and the heat is not too intense.

The humidity in South Ockendon is at 44% at 6pm and it is expected to rise (according to the Met office) to 79% b7 10pm.  It will be more humid tomorrow where the humidity will rise to 93% by 5am tomorrow morning.

Much nicer today in a way.

I don't find hot weather that interesting so i have been reading about the difference between toffee, caramel and butterscotch sauce.

For ice cream.

Not gonna lie guys, I'm still loving it. We so rarely get summer's like this that I'm appreciating it whilst I can.

Much more comfortable night despite that it’s 19C now, humidity must be down on last night was unbearable perhaps worst of summer was low 30s inside upstairs. I feel this summer would go in my good books if I didn’t work and had a house which is like oven. Summer will be over soon! And I ain’t grumbling.

3 more days of warmth and then back to average temps (which I’m sure will please a few on here)

meanwhile.... 46c in Portugal yesterday - thinking of the folk and Elderly there.

Off to Windsor today to enjoy another cracking summers day - Making most of it before Wednesday’s change.

Some high cloud here at the moment, hopefully that won't last.

arpegeuk-41-15-0.png?05-06

A pretty uniform temperature range across the region (27-29C) though 30C should be reachable.

As for next week, I don't think things will be that bad, Wednesday still looks warm for the time of year and temperatures look like remaining at or a little above normal.
