Huge bust For Bexhill and Hastings IMO. No thunder or lightning throughout this spell, and just to rub it in further, Kent had a cracker of a storm, which was in no  way visible from here. All in all, it’s been a disappointing convective season thus far. Not to mention, all the left over cloud is spoiling the view of the lunar  eclipse...

That's a mighty fine plume you got going on there 2018.

Mighty fine.

Not here it isn't. Dreadful, awful waste of a hot spell for me.

Overall for a storm that's had all that heat and all that humidity, it wasn't all that! The start of it looked like end of the world stuff, but the rain isn't that much and there's the odd lightning strike. Just a small summer storm really for kent
Depressing, we needed more

I think we have more to come this evening, at least in fits and starts.

Not impressive for rainfall I have to say, no hail either...a few lightning flashes and rumbles of thunder. Although not over 5/10

Right, going to get parked up. Either Crownthorpe Rd nr Wymondham with a 360 view or near Reymerston with a good view to the south and has served me well before. Wymondham first I think...all of a 10 min drive haha

I think Blitzortung is being wildly generous with their strikes. According to them there's a huge storm over us but there isn't. Think lightningmaps is more accurate tonight.

Watch out Norfolk! This storm is crazy! Best I’ve seen in years! Constant lightning, 50mph gusts and rainfall rates touching 200mm/hr!!

Well this has been one hell of a bust here. About 10 minutes of rain and that's it.

A rumble or two of very distant thunder but as others have said very poor indeed considering the immense heat and humidity in our part of the world very poor indeed considering the conditions
