wind has got up here in Great Ryburgh, we had a 2 vehicles at work damaged by hailstones.

Is the main course yet to come? What we have had so far has been quite significant.

I worry as my other half is at a concert outside in the open watching James Arthur, always worrying in these conditions.

Still 30c over here in the Suffolk desert, triangle of doom keeping the heat in  cloud to the west, still blue skies to the south.

Dry as a bone still. Temperature has dropped considerably though, all that heat and no fun for me. :(

We have rain! Only a light smattering but rain. Hoping it gets heavier.

Already 10oC cooler than this time yesterday. That’s quite a rapid cool down. No rain or storms here yet

Same here, very few drops and stopped within minutes. Just heard a rumble as I type this so something on it's way hopefully.

Dissapoiting here in Essex but to be expected as too far south of the storms, hopefully some storms will develop over the channel.

So going to be landing in Luton in just over an hour - I guess there’s a line of storms heading through there at the moment. How’s it looking for around 2030L?

Just had a shelf cloud come through here, still waiting on the storm, can see it in the distance, but still dry with no thunder for now.

We have BIG spots of rain, massive clouds going up and Thunderstorm to our east and I can hear bangs to my south

One small  token 'thunderstorm' a few spotty showers and a nice breeze. Must not grumble I guess it's more than some folk have had.

Nothing for the eastern part of the region, just dead anvils passing. Wow. Cloud to the SE means no moon either probably. Almost a double bust.

I'm standing in a downpour, coolest I've felt in months, even the cat is with me and she hates getting wet, but she is one soggy moggy and loves it
