Cloudy and humid today - can't see any chance of rain.  I'm starting to think that we're becoming the western European equivalent of the Mojave.

Well if you call 0.2mm rain then it has rained. I think most evaporated on the way down.

First recorded rain since June 17th (if you call 0.2 rain).

The temperature according to garden thermometer is 24 °C  but Thurrock weather says it's 22.5 °C .  The sky is still overclouded.

I can confirm that the light blue area covering us on the radar for the past 40 minutes is not delivering any rain... at all....

Hi peeps well well it's been a long time since I was here. Can't believe how fast time is flying.

Hope everyone is ok and you are all having s great day. Just finished work here in Milton Keynes on my journey back home to Walthamstow it is humid,

i am hoping for some night time storms will be a relief for the garden to get some water.

Anyway peeps will love you and leave you all just popped in to say hi. As I am a snow lover I am counting the time down. See you all soon.

stay safe and take care

regards

Well you know the old saying...

time flies like knives. fruit flies prefer bananas.

good to see you posting though, can't believe it was only March we were getting hyped on snow and the promise of a frozen summer. Safe travels and enjoy any storms if they come your way.

For the second time in a week, a large tree has fallen and blocked the A40. I'm pretty certain the very dry ground is weakening them.

Going dark here, some clouds of interest..and I've got a thumping headache!!

For us in the far SE/Kent, I think it's worth now looking at the PPN in Belgium and Northern France. Was coming up from the south but last few frames of Radar show it pivoting to go West. This could bring more rain into the night with the possibility of T&L.
