At this rate, come next weekend, we'll all be sweating goats!

Anyone goat air conditioning?

That sun emoji is frankly disturbing... let’s hope that appears less than the actual sun, huh?

Sinister sun lol

Simultaneous goat- and sun-worship, eh? Wasn't that something invented by Arkenaten (sp?)? Or was it more to do with slaves being fed to crocodiles at High Tide? Who knows?

Just seen the Anglia TV weather...Unfortunately, it's sponsored by Greater Anglia Trains: will it be late, will it be full-up or will it be cancelled? Who Knows?

A nice day here in Hawkinge even with a far bit of high cloud making the sun hazy or to disappear at times.

Managed a high of 24c so can’t grumble. Still hoping the MO forecast of much cooler on the eastern side of the region is incorrect from Monday onwards!

Whilst looking hot next week, i'm glad it has toned down over subsequent runs. Always gets to warm overnight in London, but at least it is looking manageable. Nothing worse than  30 to 32c heat and hot and sticky nights!

This 'heatwave' is looking like a complete non event, especially for the south east. Still looking nice and very dry but I would be very surprised to see 30C in London during the spell

We will probably squeeze out a 30c still. But I think we will have to wait for any proper heat.

Dry and sunny, 16.4C...with a light NE breeze to keep the sweat-fest at bay!?️

As a heat hater I was starting to get worried but I think it’ll be OK for us in the south east near an east coast/ north Kent coast. For us prob ranging 22oC to 27oC , especially Thursday. Those closer to London and west of may well hit a 30oC by Thursday. Some lovely sunny weather on the way for all

A lovely sunny day with high cloud being less of an issue. 25c with just a light breeze.

Tomorrow - Looks like 30C is possible in London and west the western side of the region.

arpegeuk-41-27-0.png?24-18

Just the risk of low cloud scraping the far east of Norfolk and Suffolk for a time, but otherwise winds look very light and variable with prolonged sunny spells. High twenties widely with the chance of 30C being reached somewhere tomorrow.

Tuesday

arpegeuk-41-50-0.png?24-18

A slightly easterly drift will be developing which will lower the maxima to the mid/high twenties. Still it could be a little overdone, yet again conditions look fine and sunny. Coasts will be restricted to the high teens/low twenties with an onshore breeze.

Wednesday

arpegeuk-41-74-0.png?24-18

A similar day to Tuesday with a light easterly breeze which again will keep conditions warm or very warm.

Thursday

arpegeuk-41-98-0.png?24-19

A slacker pressure pattern on Thursday which will allow temperatures to rise again towards the 30C mark. Again skies should be mostly clear throughout.

The big question is Friday, the GFS keeps developing a stronger NE winds which causes temperatures to tumble back to the high teens for many, other models keep conditions very warm and sunny.

Beautiful day again, what feels like a hot sunny day. Temps reached 25c here and oh man did that June sun feel hot, real feel much higher than actual.

Whilst folk in the MAD thread wet their pants and get angry because 35c isn’t projected, I’d be happy with temps of today as it felt very warm.

Looking good for the first 30C of the year tomorrow. Conditions look right for that to be achieved. That’ll be another box ticked off! Never feels like summer has kicked off until we see a 30 somewhere!

Another nice warm sunny day with very little humidity perfect. Does feel more like spring than summer, with that nice cool breeze around, just a bit warmer.

Good Evening everyone.

Another lovely day here in Mid Essex. My allotment is bone dry and there is no rain forecast for at least another week and so a lot of watering to look forward to.

I saw on Countyfile 5 day forecast that Essex has only received 3% of the monthly rainfall thus far this month and it could be record breaking.

Kind Regards

Dave

Morning all, gorgeous morning here. Looking forward to some nice hot weather - but unfortunately we'll end up with a howling E'ly onshore which inevitably ruins everything

20c now at Heathrow.. Going to be a warm week haven't posted in a week as I was working at Royal ascot at a big bar doing bbq and kitchen.

We managed around 2500 burgers, 400 sausages and about 500 kebabs

A fantastic week and would do it again although I've done 60 hours roughly in the last 5 days.. So taken today off normal work to recover..

Also on the last day Saturday, I had to speak to police about an incident

Enjoy the sunshine people! We could do with some rain though!!

A lovely day again, feeling a bit more humid though.

Daughter has just been given the day off work due to an accident.

Car drove into the building she works at, so may be a while before she goes back. Hope it's not to long.

The way things are shaping up, I think some of us might even welcome a cooler, cloudier blip later in the week?

Absolutely.

We are still in early summer, plenty of time for the second half to turn cloudy and drab, really hoping the North Sea crud doesn’t spoil things here later in week.
