Lovely day. Low cloud burnt off at 8.30am and it has been sunny all day with sone high cloud from time to time.

Lovely day and now lots of AC CAS around, some of it looking very tall. Just looked at radar, maybe I can see the top of that shower in the channel.

Hadn’t looked at radar since about 7pm and as there was nothing hadn’t bothered since. Now hearing deep rumbles every 30 seconds or so.

Looks like it’s going to hit Dungeness way though what’s coming up from France after it?!

Soo pleased to say just saw my first flash of lightning followed by an almost immediate deep rumble of thunder

Missing to my west as I thought, that little finger on radar tried to get here, but still too west.

Its started raining here now and the lightning is picking up. So wasn't expecting this this evening so very happy !

A fair amount of lightning to the southwest, eased off now, and a brief spell of torrential rain.

I think its the start of whats going to be a very good stormy summer. Perhaps wishful thinking on my part but we'll see
