Well it was quite bright to start here with a lot of mid/high level cloud. Then the low cloud rolled in, which would be understandable except for the fact that the wind is westerly. Where the heck has this gloom come from???

Sun starting to come out,19C already and humid,not sure we in best place for storms but some of us in east anglia going to get some cracking ones later

Bleh back to being very humid today, thought yesterday's fresh warmth was going to stay another day. Was some sun about this morning but seems to have clouded over now.

Still grey and gloomy but reasonably warm.

Dry morning here, feeling quite warm and humid despite the annoyingly large amounts of cloud, though clearer skies are pushing across from the SW with a weak cold front.

Still raining and still cloudy (thought brighter at times) and now up to a very humid 21C...Something has to give?

Sun has now made its way through in south Lincolnshire washing is out. Hope there will be storms late afternoon into the evening but I'm not hopefull

Here we go. Showers just starting to fire up in West Norfolk going by the radar. Expect everything to develop quickly now

The sun came out by midday, up to 23C again but there isn't much sign of any potential showers or storms. Just a few splashes of rain from time to time.

Occasional heavy burst of rain. Two vague rumbles. Norfolk really can't get it right these days!

Now quite a decent storm Attleborough/Wymondham way. Plenty of thunder with some ground shakers thrown in.

Quite disappointing.  Very warm but mainly cloudy with the odd sunny spell,

Annoyingly though there is enough convection to make it cloudy.

Not here as yet, things seem slow moving, so perhaps your cloud will keep building till you have a shower.

I doubt it. It’s been cloudy for about 2 hours now with only brief sunny spells.. Just cumulus but it’s not moving anywhere.

Very nice here in Rayleigh sunshine light winds and a temp of 22 degrees summer is here for today anyway regardless of what happens next week.
