I honestly think it's getting near beddy and making a run for it. It did this the other night too.

Not happy.

However, it looks like Netweather did better than Accuweather.    :)

Some impressive-looking cumulus build-up in the North Sea...

Distant rumbles has once again resumed here in Tonbridge, sky very dark tot he north.

Just waiting for the first reports from Crayford of the Cray bursting it's banks, as it normally does in this sort of situation.

Appears to be line convection along a convergence zone creating the storms, which in this situation occur along the same ares for a prolonged period.

Seems we have missed the worse of the storm and rain at London Southbank.  I've heard from my daughter in Bexleyheath and it's pretty bad there.

Still a few rubbles but most of the heavy stuff has gone through now by the looks of things. There's a fair bit of flood water in front of the house.

Up the hill on Bexley rd, Fire engine just gone down to Erith town center, all the water is heading down the hill so could be a fair bit of flooding down there.

Just seen a snapchat video from my daughter outside our house and there is a river of water flowing in the road, but that's not unusual during heavy rain.  No doubt Crayford will flood yet again...

Getting some proper thunder here now. I see there is now a flood warning out for the Cray. No doubt Hall Place flood control will be filling up shortly
