16.5C - 83% humidity - still cloudy but teasing slightly because getting slightly brighter.

Think it will shift - got our family over for a barbe this afternoon and have put in a specific request to the weather gods.

In the time I have written this, temp now up to 17.1C - humidity 81%, so going the right way.

Happy Bank Holiday All :)

Dry and sunny with barely a breeze. Don't know the temp as the Beccles weather station is currently offline.

For some reason I’m thinking Petworth Park would be a good spot today...

Better get going then, it shuts at 4pm

Welcome v warm sunshine and a gentle breeze today before we're plunged back into a bitter NEly. I guess one day a week is better than none...

Don't reckon the cap will be broken today.

Give it time, the cape is at its best after about 3pm, I wouldn't expect much before then, I'm thinking more like 4, give them a little time to build. I doubt anything for here this afternoon, but south coast and central should see something.

Just heard two claps of thunder from it.

Aided in its development by Downs topography and sea breeze kicking in at midday.

Just home from our 3 nights away camping in west Oxfordshire. Great time had by all. Very gloomy there this morning but sunny and warm here, can already see some convection on the horizon. 23C with light winds, currently.
