Wow Ashford last 20 mins. Not seen anything like it in the UK ever! 30mm in 2 minutes. Constant lightning and thunder.

A much wider expanse of Thundery PPN moving up now, most of us should get something out of this next band.

Can’t believe I’m missing the storms at home! There’s been some lightning and thunder here in Oxfordshire but quite distant. Very windy.

Just like early June 1980. Storms are quite widespread. Been raining with some hail, plenty of lightning and thunder in west London for the past hour.

I think you might get some. This storm event seems to be quite widespread.

For those in London, that was just a starter, main event incoming soon.

The lightning is intensifying again, but still no rain nor thunder.

zero rain here so far

We've had light rain and distant rumbles, all going wrong way for us in the east. Wonder if there's anything else coming later, I doubt it, second Kent storm is using all the energy up.

A screenshot as the video I took is too big to post, it's been like this constantly for a good half hour or so outside. I'm in South Woodham, miles away from the storms still really. It's an eerie view, especially when the skies were clear and I could see the moon.

Be thankful you don't live in the east, you'd never get the opportunity to see storms like this even in summer. Envious doesn't come close!
