Just like early June 1980. Storms are quite widespread. Been raining with some hail, plenty of lightning and thunder in west London for the past hour.

pretty much constant lightning for a lengthy period of time not seen anything like that in years, rain out this world!

I think you might get some. This storm event seems to be quite widespread.

This is already turning into an interesting year for weather. The cold snowy late winter, cold spring, warm May, and now some storms.

We've had light rain and distant rumbles, all going wrong way for us in the east. Wonder if there's anything else coming later, I doubt it, second Kent storm is using all the energy up.

Wow, a wall of purple (on netweather's radar) forming to the south-east heading straight to london. Could possibly be more serious than the first load?

A screenshot as the video I took is too big to post, it's been like this constantly for a good half hour or so outside. I'm in South Woodham, miles away from the storms still really. It's an eerie view, especially when the skies were clear and I could see the moon.

Be thankful you don't live in the east, you'd never get the opportunity to see storms like this even in summer. Envious doesn't come close!
