This is like being able to see a delicious cake that's just out of your grasp. Medway please!

Same here, they were heading straight for me but are heading more NW now and are just missing me, still a great light show though but only a drop or two of rain.

Just took a pic

The humidity here in Essex  is some on the worst I've ever felt, painfully looking at storms to the south and hoping one forms further north.

Never seen anything like this before - it’s like a streamer and it’s just one after another coming over here - seem to be in the sweet spot in SE London

Yup, In Hither Green, and quite a scene to behold.

Not sure I have ever witnessed such frequent thunder and lightning. Was incesent.

Not a classic in terms of beautiful fork lightning and overhead thunder, but a classic of the elevated variety.

Rainfall was like the tropics.

Staying at the in laws in River (near Dover) and can hear very distant rumbles. Only a light shower here so far..

Don’t have radar, but it looks like more coming in south east of me. I’m in Thurrock

Exactly - we were very lucky here I think to be in quite a narrow area

The next lot looks like hitting central London too, could be some flooding around, a wet bank holiday night out for those up town.

Wow Ashford last 20 mins. Not seen anything like it in the UK ever! 30mm in 2 minutes. Constant lightning and thunder.

Just dragged myself away from my window. Amazing, almost constant thunder, some good visible lightning and torrential rain.

Has gone a bit quiet now, but there is plenty coming up from the channel!

Holy ——! This rain is extreme! The amount of lightning, coupled with the continuous booming thunder, is absolutely surreal.

Looks like everything is going to end up west of here but damn the amount of lightning being chucked out of this thing to my south is incredible.
