The worst case scenario for me tonight is no thunderstorm and Liverpool winning the champions league.

i'd happily take a storm and Liverpool winning the champions league though.

I'm hoping that sunset makes the atmosphere explode, like it did last July where the storms formed just a couple of miles off the west Sussex coast and we took a hammering here.

Seems to be shower intensification  over inland SE England.

Sea temperatures keeping development over land? Not a night to be on the South coast perhaps...

The intense downpours look like being west of Kent. Much lighter precipitation further east.

BBQ over. Pi**ing it down in Hailsham but still a lovely evening.

Always in the back of my mind that this may be as good as it gets this summer!

Best of luck over the next couple of days. I have never seen so many thunderstorm symbols forecasts of an extended number of days. It looks pretty warm with temperatures reaching similar levels as today

Would be my typical luck to have storms tonight I don’t wake up from and then nothing tomorrow in the day - however I fear I’m too east but then it’s early days

I'm sat out in the garden and I can hear very very distant rumbles of thunder. I love sultry evenings like this

Are these storms in the channel heading north west or directly north?

Think Worthing will be sandwiched between em regardless! we shall see though
