What a weird few days. I still haven't recovered from being woken up at 4:30 with torrential rain a few days ago, feel drained and sleepy from the past couple of days of humidity and heavy air. I am now SO looking forward to a week's holiday of torrential rain and storms. The planned DIY jobs at home and camping trips may have to be postponed while I find alternative entertainment for myself and the kids, Blitzortung is only entertaining for a few hours.....

hold tight.. Im surprised at the SAT this morning showing a very nice clear gap moving in.. People on the south coast are already seeing sunshine as @Steve Murr just beat me to the post

Yep, cold and grey. Even had some rain earlier. 26C and sunny, my a**e

Small thunderstorm just to the north of here towards harwich,looks look its all moving north,heard few rumbles here

Yep, quite the opposite of humid here. Wind is cold.

Here in Bampton in Oxfordshire it’s humid but feeling cold at a miserable 14C with some light rain. Can see the clear skies moving up from the SE though on satellite, hurry up!

Sun breaking through now. In these humid set ups a bit of sun causes the temperature to rocket.
