Lovely sunny morning but as I feared, the dreaded infill has duly arrived. Must be a weather law in this country that decrees sunshine as unnecessary!

still sunny here, got some convective clouds about though. not too numerous, I'm thinking the odd shower will pop up here and there though.

Same here - a deep blue sky and light winds: the polar opposite of yesterday's garbage!:yahoo:

Can I ask a question here. Since that eruption of filth yesterday and no not Spurs Beating Watford. The atmosphere and its surroundings seem to be completely at odds with the time of year. Is this a direct result of the size of this SSW that we experienced first at the end of Feb an then mid-late March.

I hope we get some warmth before the longest day!!!! otherwise we will be getting the suntan lotion out at xmas the way spring hasn't sprung yet.

Oh, absolutely. Yesterday was awful but was hoping for sunny skies all day today to make up for it.

i read a poem out when we buried the melons, it went something like this

Oh melons how I miss you

now that you have gone

you put up a good fight

but were taken in the night

as you succumb to frost bite

which i didn't like

I was looking forward to large melons

to help pass the summer months

now all i have is a distant memory

of what could have been two nice juicy humps:oops:

i'll get my goat

Very nice day here, deep blue sky, coupled with the odd fair-weather cloud. There is quite a brisk breeze though.current temp. 11.6C, Dew point 6.7C

Thankfully it remained sunny all day here right on the coast but the cloud build up was clear to see just 3 or 4 miles inland.

A stiff breeze has helped to dry the grass here following yesterdays deluge and although it felt reasonable out of the wind, a max of 11.9c will hopefully be improved upon as the week progresses.

A marked improvement on yesterday today.

hoping for a chance to get the bbq out at the weekend. Will a Bank Holiday weekend really permit such a thing?

Well according to the northern lads' mad thread this morning we are heading for mid to high twenties early next week in this neck of the woods.

Met Office saying 18-20c.

Let's see whose right.

More rain on way for today....:nea:

Back to square one with weather again - it seems payback for one sunny morning we have another wet day ! Lack of posts probs reflects  general apathy with conditions - heatwave on the way then ...?

Miserable weather today; wet, windy and cold at just 10C. Poor.

Summer on the way for the weekend and next week. In other news, one person shot dead and another injured just round the corner:shok:
