No thats Borough Market your thinking of Lass, Greenwich is about 10/15 mins further east along the Thames. Heres some pics of the museums, the dome, Royal Observatory and Greenwich park, and finally the Cutty Sark.

Turned out lovely today, east is best, been out sunbathing this morning with my cups of sweet tea after cutting the lawns yesterday. 24c.:yahoo:

Seeing Greenwich Royal Naval college brought back memories.

Went to a ball there mid 1970's. My brother was a serving officer based there for a while.

One of the most memorable "posh" events I have been to. Food incredible, lots of different venues for dancing. Only time I have had to wear a stiff white wing collar and was  stuffed into my penguin suit with tails. My wife and I looked the business .  She still does.

I of course still dress for dinner. Tee shirt and shorts with my gut hanging over my belt. Well the last bit was a lie possibly.

Crap getting old.

Up to 24C now, and cumuli are growing sharper outlines. Freshening SW wind.

Still lovely here, been saying to people, make the most of the next few hours, all change from tomorrow. And to think I'm in full Summer mode now, darn it!

Only a temporary break down I feel just as the beast from the east managed to reach us I think the scorchio from the east /southeast will have no problems reaching us this year

Warmest London marathon day ever! Superb “summers” day been a great week today possibly most enjoyable day of warm spell. Warm but not too warm, a breeze, unbroken sunshine you can’t top it.

Well it was nice while it lasted, cloudy and breezy now with a "thundery breakdown" about as rare as rocking horse doodahs these days....

well, one storm to be precise, moving quite fast and approaching Gt Yarmouth. Had a few rumbles from it so humbly grateful for a few crumbs as ever!

The radar is a great thing. It tells me about storms i'm missing out on instead of  being none the wiser  as it was in  the olden days.

So yeah bedford storm shield on max.
