I too am going for a very near average 7.9 degrees. A mixed month, swings and fine margins between cold and warm, southern parts may see some decent sunny warmer conditions at times, but frost will always be a threat. Wet at times as well. Scotland and the north more often in the colder air than warmer air.

7.5C.

I suspect the month will be drier and more anti-cyclonic than average but that we will more likely than not retain a -AO for too long to benefit.

I suspect we will get an actual warm spell in the second half to breach 20C.

Signals are mixed temp-wise, perhaps a lot of swings during the month -  a behaviour that tends to result in above average rainfall.

So I'll go for a very boring 8.7*C and an uninspiring (unless you imagine it mostly coming from thunderstorms!) 77 mm, thanks.

So CET - 6.4C

Rain - 82mm

So a cool and wet month I suspect, hopefully this will be proved wrong and we get a drier and warmer month.

Sorry, could you make that 9.4*C with 77 mm, if a correction is allowed? Cheers

Time to pick a number...

OK,  Lets try a fairly average 8.5C, with a cold start  and a warming up with some night frost.

A respectable 68mms of rain will fall.
