A few light snow showers either side of midnight but most of the night was dry and cloudy. A few light sleet showers earlier this morning but it's dry and cloudy at the moment.

Variable cloud overnight. Frost forming. Cloud breaks developing this morning, bright spells. Only small patches of snow remaining in garden, though Still deep drifts in near by fields. Turning mostly cloudy, light rain and sleet showers scattered around.

Big thaw today,now ample snow drifts left once again a min of -1c max 7.5c with a much lighter wind now NWly,cloudy and sunny intervals.

Dry with sunny spells after a cloudy start, and feeling much milder than the last few days. About 5% snow cover at 9am, and the snow disappeared completely by mid-morning. Maximum 8.5, minimum 0.7. Wind light N.

A mainly cloudy day with a few light showers, these of sleet at first but of rain from mid morning. A clearance moved in from the north by late afternoon and there were sunny spells to end the day.
