Scotland/Alba Regional Weather Discussion 16/03/2018 Onwards

My daughter just got back from Les Deux Alpes this evening. Sunny all week with some strong winds and a high wind chill. Icy in places and hard packed snow but still enjoyed the week. None of the snow that has hit further East has made it to there so far.

Another cool and grey boring day here. Some gaps in the clouds overnight did lead to a frost for a time as with the last couple if nights.

Yes well the horror story continues.  Damp drizzly pish then heavy dark GREY Similar to a young bullsing shittiness.

1 minute ago, More Snow said:

nice day here, infact the sun even came out.

I wouldn't shout that out, we're all suffering from SAD in here and are liable to start snapping at anyone enjoying their weather....?

Grey, grey, grey dull and grey here in Falkirk. Back to work tomorrow after two weeks off so the weather sums up my mood. Also it's  my last full week in my 40s (sob sob) and Mr Snowidea is getting twitchy as he's not bought me a birthday pressie yet. Hoping to head up Glencoe-wards next weekend so will see some snow even if it's the man made stuff for sledging on Glencoe mountain. Hopefully we'll get some proper weather soon.

More grey damp misty pish..!!!

I pointed a Raytek infrared thermometer at the sky which read 8.2deg/C the laser looked pretty good in mist though.

Europe is getting all the white stuff just now, watching the euro news and weather they are getting it pretty bad in some places.

I'am keeping the faith though as I've a feeling we are going to get scudded with ice and snow before long.

The new thread for our chatter and musings.  I figured it might cheer us up in this grey depressing weather if we think of it like a freshly-made bed.
