Still rattling off the window but beginning to slide down it too now. Still more sleet than wet snow though.

stayed dry most of the day here before this sleet / freezing rain combo moved in a few hours ago, looks like some heavier precip heading this way from the S / SW over the next few hours so hopefully the intensity will mix some snow in.

current temp 3.3 C Dew Point 0.9 Rainfall today 2.8 mm

right on cue a heavier bit of precip and little bits of ice / hail / graupel mixed in with the sleet/rain

Sleet, Hail and Icy stuff here noo!

Looks like it will be treacherous oot there

Absolutely smashing it down here now. the kids are going mental every time a car goes past as they can see how heavy the Snaw is in the car lights.. they have all said they cant wait for the SSW to happen and for January to be one long Snaw festival..

I'd classify it as wet snow here now, but not managing to lie, probably as everything is now sodden. Found the light outside the sun lounge gives a half decent idea of what's falling through the darkness.

They are just hoping for a month of "snow days" to avoid school (so am I).

Still a wintry mix here of ice pellets and sleet. The ground is grey rather than white with a cover  of something icy.

Here are another couple of photos from a Dunkeld A9 and A827 Aberfeldy areas.
