Nice and sunny here but still with that cold wind, needed a jumper on today sitting in the garden.

Opposite here, I was happily pottering in the garden in shorts and a t-shirt. Same as @ciel at 17c, a couple of degrees above the met app forecast.

Some heavy rain overnight clearing just after dawn to leave a lovely day - max of 17C, mainly sunny with light winds.

Weather changing now, lot of cloud now moving in from the south and the southerly wind is starting to pick up.

Deeside is looking stunning just now with all the fresh green growth and a backdrop of the mountains still with some big patches of snow visible - Scotland's scenery at its best.

Hi folks, nice evening here, very warm in the sunshine. This is the view from the park round the back of my house. You get a great view of the campsies from here.

Another lovely day here, although a tad chilly in the wind when the sun went behind the clouds when I was out cycling in a t-shirt earlier.

Borders are turning that deep, rich green of late spring/early summer. My favourite time of year after winter.

Phone snap from a previously unexplored route up onto the southern upland way. Light and camera both a bit crap!

EDIT. Also shot looking south to Black Hill. Gorse in full, fragrant bloom.

Nice wet morning here too crops were really needing a drink  (We need an inch of rain a week  just now  to balance the evapotranspiration rates of rapidly growing plants)and everything is really looking green this morning . Probably going out to garden  now to do some transplanting in the rain.Currently 9c.

Same here. A very wet start but a glorious afternoon and evening and feeling warm in the sun. A mostly dry week to come maybe?

Beautiful clear evening and the House Martins are back making plenty racket and scouting out sites for nests.

No shortage of mud for them either after the deluge that took up most of the day, with rain off and on until mid-afternoon.  Garden was needing a good soak though.

During the rain it was cold, with max of 9.5C recorded but temperature rebounded to 13C in the early evening with the reappearance of the sun - light winds throughout.

Another beautiful morning after a cracking weekend. Nice to have weather resembling spring after a decent winter. 2 actual seasons in a row!

Next time you're back in Peebles, come home via the back road..  At the eastern end of the main street in Innerleithen, turn off to the left to Heriot - the B709. That's my back yard! Fab scenery of hills and more hills, wee twisty road but with good long straights. Wee burns and sheepies in them. Buzzards and short eared owls and  hares. It's like the highlands in minature lol, and far easier to get to

Phew, car was showing 21C on my drive home from work around 4pm, despite the sun having gone behind high cloud by then.

Rain radar shows precipitation over us but in reality all dry on the ground here.

Lovely warm day, up to 22C at lunchtime.  Plenty of sunshine in the morning but a lot of cloud in the afternoon.

Moderate SSW breeze for most of the day veering now more to a W/WNW direction - makes a wonderful change to have a mild wind rather than one that chills you to the bone!

A nice sunny morning with the temperature up to 18.8C but cloudy in the afternoon and just a spit of rain. Fresh Westerly breeze. Not a bad working outside day overall.

A beautiful blue sky morning. Just a wee bit of a NW breeze taking the edge off the temp.

And my solitary Swallow is still fleein' aboot, He's not found a friend yet.

Also, there has been anither brood of baby rabbits in the garden.:shok: It was interesting listening to an item on R4 yesterday about the benefits or otherwise of the decline in rabbit population.

Bright sunshine but cool, particularly in the shade. Just 11c with an easterly breeze, a far cry from the 21c recorded yesterday!
