No accumulations under 200m according to the Met Office warning:rofl:

Yes. This one is at 100mtrs just West of Aberfeldy. As the person who took the photo said perhaps white cars should have their lights on and clear their rear windscreens. The second picture is a little higher just South of Aberfeldy on the road to Crieff. Looks very similar to Northern Straths road picture posted earlier.

Still sleeting away here. Anyone from higher NW parts of the city have snow?

After a damp feeling morning but with nothing really falling from the sky it's just started with a wintry mix here. Earlier even the hills just to the west only had a speckled wet looking mix except for the very tops. Much as I love snow, it's been a looooong winter. I just hope the summer compensates for it.

Current state of the higher parts of the Edinburgh City bypass at around 150m!

Terrible waste of perfectly guid falling snaw here in Leith. Belting down but chances of accumulation are close to zero (and I don't want a pile of freezing grey slush anyway)

Kids have been out with the ruler and I'm reliably informed there's around 3-4cm in the garden :D

Tell them to get started on the snowman, just the right claggy consistency for a big one. Assuming you can get back up Lanark Road of course !

Edit: heavy enough that it's *just *starting to lie on surfaces here, 125ft a.s.l., all depends now if this intensity keeps up or slackens off.

Been sleety wet snow in Motherwell all day, not lying at all though it's just adding to the surface water.

Here in Fife we just haven't had any sunshine / snowy days other than the odd hour here and there. The prospect of a decent blue sky / deep snow day tomorrow.......well.......I think I might wet myself.

Go outside first and then post the yellow snow pics!

I'm off to Westfield again tonight, which could be amusing then.

Settling readily in the City Center now. Could be an interesting journey home. Pelting it down :D

A proper 'late in the game' miss from the Met Office this one!

Yes.   Was quite surprised when a got up at 7.30am.   Can honestly say that it hasn't stopped all day but luckily of the sleety variety as there hasn't been much in the way of accumulation.

Could this be the last '3 cheers' for @Hawesy's wet baws?

@HawesyCan keep them!   I am seriously in need of some heat and sun now.

We are fast approaching halfway through spring and it definitely hasn't sprung yet!   The last 'year without a spring apparently was 1976 which led to a fabulously hot summer.   I would happily forfeit spring if I was guaranteed one of those!

Farmers must be really struggling with this.
