Graupel falling here, but covered everything white. Just watched Carol on BBC, and looks like we could be in for a whole day of Snaw, and here is me planning on heading to Ayr and back today.

-7.2c yesterday morn saw April continue with the cold theme, a really beautiful spring day after. Watched some seals playing near Oban, snowy hills and a crisp blue backdrop everywhere you drove

White this morning after some overnight showers. Tomorrow and Wednesday's forecast wouldn't look out of place mid-January, snow laden

Surely the Met Office forecast is wrong. Going against every other weather service and predicting light sleety drizzle in spells while the radar show a massive band of snow heading towards my location.

very light Snaw drifting about in the breeze. think this could be winters last bite as double figures look set from the weekend onwards.

More Snow..... I’m thinking you should set up an outside Webcam for next Winter.......you seem to have had a crazy amount of falling/ lying snow days this Winter ❄️

Caught the edge of a snow shower an hour or so ago,, and have to say I'm thoroughly tired of woolly jumpers, woolly socks, fleeces, thermal gloves, scarfs, topping up the oil-tank etc etc etc.

Need to feel the sun's warmth on my skin now and not before time !

Heavy constant snow piling down here, but not piling up.  Just grass white for now.

Was hoping for my 40th snow day, but it's a couple of hours too late. Darn.

I'm the same as shuggee, heavy constant snow lying on the fields and hills but not the road yet.

A fairly decent Easter weekend so far, given the prevailing weather pattern.

Good Friday: cauld rain with some wet snaw chucked in. Meh.

Sat: drier than expected. Still cauld, but usable weather.

Easter Day: Easter egg hunting in Killiecrankie. Glorious day. Loads of sunshine and a max of 8.4C (snaps attached).

Today: brisk and bright morning, but it's a-coming...a White Easter Monday to top off the classic cauld, snawy and prolonged winter that was 2017-18.

Enjoy the snaw, kilters!

It's been snowing here for a while now but @Hawesy and his wet baws are stopping it from settling. I suspect it may stay like this today, heavy snow but not settling.

Forecast suggesting the main threat to be later on today once the heavier ppn moves in. Not convinced myself either.

Here's a funny video from someone in the U.S. who actually doesn't like the snow. Wish it was like that here.

Just had a brief heavy snow shower here, not lying though. If it's got past the time of the year when it'll lie then I'd rather it just wormed up properly as there's plenty I could be doing now instead of sheltering in the house with the heating on.
