A dry start to the night with snow arriving during the early hours, turning to sleet before it cleared to the north. A thin cover of wet snow here but a more significant covering on the hills a few miles to the north. Light sleet at the moment.

A few spots of rain after moderate rain earlier, cloudy, an  air frost in the very early hours with a low of -0.1 C now on 3.8 C

A slight frost overnight then snow in the morning until 10.00 leaving 50mm of damp snow.Clearing to give sunny spells and a steady thaw.Max 4 deg min 0 deg.patchy snow remaining and small drifts under walls

Heavy snow didn't last long giving a slight covering which was enough to send people into panic mode even when the road was clear. Quickly turned to wet snow then light rain luckily enough temps rose preventing freezing drizzle. A cold day for March

Max temp 6.5C now 4.7C low -0.6C, Barometer 1000mb rising rapidly, Wind f2 WSW, rainfall mostly snow 2.6mm

A cloudy and chilly morning with intermittent light snow which added nothing to the thin cover, all of which had thawed by late morning leaving only old drifts. A dry afternoon with sunny intervals.

Heavy snow from dawn with blizzard like conditions causing severe disruption to travel. The snow cleared by late morning giving way to mostly sunny skies and a massive thaw. Todays max only 6.3c in a light s/westerly.
