Sun is out now and feels humid again. Wasn't expecting to see it this afternoon, so looks like another good evening on the cards.

Hi Guys...

Been away for the weekend. Arrived home last night to the cool and grot so loved by some on here.:whistling:

Just checked May's stats, and the most notable was the rainfall at 99.3mms.  (two big storms).

Max temp was 25.3C so apparently not a brilliant month, but the sunshine hours was 20% above average.

The morning  -  cool ad breezy with a temperature of 12.9C,

Hopefully brighten up later on ?

Day in the garden for me.

MIA

Our good old friend "The Atlantic" looks like it will be slowly be surely pushing it's way in over the second half of the weekend - on the latest runs that is.

A rather cool and grey day again so far but in the last half hour a few breaks have appeared in the cloud so perhaps more chance of afternoon sunshine than yesterday.

Current temp' is 12.9c.

Wow...TM that is cool.

I have just seen some brightening of the sky and the temp has rocketed from 14.3C to 17.2C in the last few minutes.

Humidity is dropping quickly as well.

Anyone in here leave near Derby, or more specifically Castle Donnington?

What's it looking like on the ground for the hoardes of tentbound invaders this weekend?

sea mist cleared around 3pm, but will be back tomorrow

Mark, anyone would think we've had the most miserable month of weather in years?

It has been the warmest may on record and the sunniest since 1929, cheer up!

Lovely clear blue skies this morning!

Stunning from start to finish today, first morning in a while without the grey murk.

Been walking in the fields and they are very dusty. But in the wooded areas, not even the deepest mud patches have dried out yet.

Didn't realise it was due to rain overnight, as hung the washing out last night and now it is soaked! At least garden got a watering, and seems good for later now?
