Light rain here in Knowle, and the skies to the S and SE are finally starting to look a little threatening.........

Still nothing to report here, although the radar shows plenty of promise. Fingers crossed!

Need a slight change in that wind direction to increase the chance of any "action", (more to an ESE, not  NE!).

Some storms brewing near Oxford! Wish they were heading my way but I'm just a bit too north in Walsall. Ridiculously humid out though, looking forward to the weekend when it cools down a little. Absolutely loved this spell of weather though! From the snow falls a few months back to heat, to the unbelievable amount of rain we had on Sunday, to the humidity!

It may possibly just be worth keeping an eye on, that to the south to south-east of us at the moment.

Very good point! Strange to think that the first day of this meteorological spring started with an ice day for most of us, and with a big winter storm incoming.........feels like an eternity ago now.

Steady light rain here in Knowle, and the occasional flashes lighting up the sky to the south. No thunder as yet.

I thought we were going to get nothing out of the forecast storms, but just now it's all kicked off with flashes and bangs, very close to the Hills.

Yep same here in Worcester, hammering it down, flashes galore with thunder in distance. Think this will be on for a few hours now. Better late than never!!!

It's suddenly looking really promising for here.

However, when you look at the radar, caution is needed, some cells are losing their intensity while at the same time, new ones are cropping up and really gaining intensity. A little bit of luck may be needed. It's a rapidly changing situation.

Overall though, looking really good.

A burst of heavy rain just exploded here for about 1 minute.

A flash to the south as well.

Is it actually 'bubbling up'?

Funny how just like last Sunday, any activity just suddenly makes a move northwards after it had been hanging around in the same place for hours.

Something is brewing, that's for sure! A bit of thunder & lightning here at the moment, but nothing too dramatic so far. It still seems rather distant.

I wouldn't be so sure, different bits of it have been dying or intensifying for a few hours now...with lots of extra bits suddenly growing out of nowhere. I wouldn't say it's not going to happen until the last little pixel has gone on the radar. While the energy is around, anything could happen.

Rumbling away here, but nothing that impressive. Nowhere near as big a show as Saturday night's. (Sunday afternoon's missed here totally!)

Edit: and now absolutely bucketing down. Radar suggests this won't last long, which is just as well as it's torrential at the moment.

Dull, damp and drizzly here, 16.1C, be very surprised if there is any rumbling today - unless of course that bright ball in the sky shows it's face this morning, and then it will only be a small risk.
