Just looped the radar and its still heading our way :), already made it well inland and into our region so hopefully the main area will make it to us, defiantly wont amount to as much as last night but maybe a couple more cm's if it makes it here, who knows :)

I think if the main batch makes it here we could be in for quite a surprise tbh

I'd be surprised if that area of snow reaches the north of the region but central and southern parts could get a cm or 2.

The radar has just pulled its finger out and the PPN is on our doorstep :)

Sounds similar to here, not as much as the 1st beast but then that was over a few days.  Great for mid-March though.

yes, less than first beast, slight thaw today as well, snow grains most of the day, light snow falling now

not the convective E'ly though of 27,28th Feb and yesterday

we have had 5 decent  snow events! not bad going, 8-10 Dec, 13 Dec, 11th Feb, beast 1 and beast 2

BC..

I think you will be OK, if the back-building is not an 'Inaprop'.

I am getting more and more certain that this event will -

1) occur -   the temp is still falling gently (-1.3C now), wind-chill is -5.1C and dew point is -5.8C, thtat makes me think something is stirring.

2) be very similar to last nights - it started here about 20:00 after a pause in the showers, I  do not think it will be as heavy or prolonged as last night. But it will be an added bonus.

Any more rain/snow moving up through Germany and France for tomorrow night? :cc_confused::yahoo:

Not being reported by forcasters on 6pm forcast.  Think West Mids will have a fresh fall.

Useless bunch , only took one look at Arpege and radar this morning to realise more than just a blob.

GFS has been consistently poor forecasting precipitation there probably using that or UKMO

Snowing lightly as I speak, started covering pavements.

Been outside with light on and there’s quite a lot of small flakes falling now. More than there has been earlier on. :)

Not to moan at all, but somewhere in a line from Birmingham to Crewe/Manchester are going to stay dry tonight, between the front from the south and the light stuff that's been over northern England for most of the day. Frustrating gap. I'd say there's the potential of another CM or 2 from about Cambridge west/SW through to Cheltenham and for everyone South and east of there.
