Just tiny flurries so far. Tonight is when it looks interesting here. Could get my heaviest snow of the winter. Or the streamer could miss by a few miles!

This is possibly a bad day to be driving from Telford to Nottinghamshire and back again, yes?

Buggrit!

Light dusting of very white snow here - it appears that it's the very fin stuff again so where it lis, it's dense.

I haven\t been keeping up with the model thread - how bad is this evening likely to be? Just trying to work out how early we should cut our day short, to be safer driving back from Notts to Shrops...

Most models show heavy snow for the north of the region, including Shropshire.

Looks like there was something that resembled snow here (a few flakes on the patio table) last night but the front completely weakened as it's past through Leicester and Hinckley. No surprise to see it peep up quite a lot after it passed us, which is a very regular occurrence for precipitation rates. Figured if I want snow need to move lol

A slight dusting here on rooftops and cars etc, but nothing coming down at the moment. Must be really cold though for it to have settled so easily after the rain yesterday evening.

It's just a question of when it's likely to arrive, the heavy stuff...  ie what time we cut the day short and head for home! A38, M6 toll, M54 so I would expect those would be fairly clear. It's not like we'll be on little side-roads over the high tops...

In Oxford for the weekend again and it's snowing lightly here. The powdery type again :D looking at the radar, I bet the people in the South East thread are going berzerk with that band on the way. London goes balistic if they get a dusting

Just a few flakes so far here in N Worcs; windy and 0.9 °C. I'm outside all the warning areas so don't expect much anyway, but we'll see!
