Do people think the snow coming later will give quite a few cm?

Yes Snow should be getting heavier soon.

Ps good luck Cardiff FC tomorrow from a very very depressed Albion ST holder. Only consolation is seeing Villa mates hopes of a top 2 spot disappear.

Cheers, if we win tomorrow we'll go 10 clear of 3rd and should have a brilliant chance of going up.

Just me still up and awake here. Plus about 20 Network Rail operatives with tons of illuminated cranes, engines and goodness knows what else working on the railway embankment 50 yards away.

Got a fair old covering of snow now and it's coming down nicely. ☺

Difficult to say - it's a bit patchy. Depends on what hits.

That's true. I haven't got a clue when the heavier stuff is arriving.

The tarmac is winning here even though the snow is moderate. It'll have to carry on for hours to get a covering. If the tarmac sees the sun, its curtains.

Do I sleep for a couple of hours or just wait up?

I really should get some sleep but I don't want to miss the heavy snow.

I feel the same but am really going to pay for not sleeping. Quite torn. Radar looks very interesting for us.

Just got in to bed, then peered at my webcam app on my phone and noticed some heightened activity. Opened the window and switched on the torch - fat flakes! But damn, that fausty smell isn't nice!

What is that? Industrial fallout from Northern France?

B%&&+y thing. I'll be glad when it's finished, it's a PITA.

But no, it's the other PITA, railway electrification! ?

Dunno. I don't remember a smell a fortnight ago. Perhaps the Russian's are around? lol

Nice big, thick flakes now though. Almost at the 50p stage.
