Final one from me, need sleep! Still snowing heavily on the IOW hopefully will keep on for the next few hours and then I can take the kids for a sledge in the morning.

Imagine, sledging on the IOW in March! :yahoo:

Might be something wrong with my nose but this snow has a bit of a musty smell to it.

Definitely not! I could smell something earlier too.

Odd isn't it? Well, I've got a full-on pink sky and moderate snow, medium flakes and a good road covering coming along. Forecast radar has changed its mind and we are in for a shot at an actually snow cover.

Just woke up after a couple of hours kip - things looking good here in Portsmouth. My side road pretty much covered in white, snow coming down fast. Should be enough for a good sledge in the morning :)

Nether stowey. Usually in the dreaded spot below the M4 - but the beast seems too have no respect for pre-determined barriers. Strange that we struggle for years - then all off a sudden its the sweet spot. Loving it, its perfect :)

Ah Coleridge's place, know it quite well as we go to a campsite just out of Watchet (Blue Anchor side) a few times a year. You are right in the sweet spot I would think.

Fairly low elevation here, but you can drive for a few minutes and be 200ft above sea level. Beast 1 tried to go driving and was pretty clear it was a bad idea! Will keep trying, but the thing with the beast is it cares not if you are up in the mendips or at sea level. wetter snow tonoght and biiger chunks it seems too that was delivered earlier in march, that was to powdery for my taste, looking out the of the window right now. Its more intense now than it was anytime beast mk-1. If thos is just the starter brng it  on.

Lol! my girlfriends bedroom window looks up to the hills so its difficult to see the snow without shining a light.

Just checked outside the window, there’s now a good dusting on the road, and I would say about an inch elsewhere now. Can’t check accurately, I’m in bed and I’m too warm!!
