50 members in here at 1:15am not bad! In a few days it won't get above about 5!

You haven't been watching the models, have you?

See you at Easter.

Dollop is on my doorstep. Fine layer of snow on road. Moderate snow. Possible heavier bursts on the way. Wish there was going to be more but radar has it dry up for me at around 4am.

You need a million candle torch run by a car battery like for my Celestron. Or just one of these new-fangled Lumens lights like Mapanz has been talking about.

I must say quite disappointing so far here in Kingswood Bristol. Very patchy settling of snow on surfaces not seen any big flakes yet. If this continues as it is no way going to get more than a few cm’s here.

Still think the wrap is coming through Bristol. We should get a few cms by the morning.

Wow at the garden!!. Did you catch?

2 spotted Rays! Drive was a bit dicey on the way home. IOW seems to be in the sweet spot at the moment, not sure how long it will last for. More than I was expected!

Having some nice snow now - I am aware its only just starting, but supposed to be having lunch with the in laws tomorrow, the snow at the moment is not settling on the roads but could really do with the roads being inaccesible tomorrow. Plaese reasure me before i go to bed .

We've all been spoiled by the Beast 1 storm. Its actually not disappointing when you consider the date! Seeing even one flurry at this time of year is remarkable, no?

Heavy snow at last and pitching on the previously warmer concrete/tarmac/asphalt surfaces. :yahoo:

Where's Mullie tonight? (Knights King)

I'm about 10 miles away from the slightly heavier snow now. Fingers crossed!

Heavier snow just arrived here. Still fairly small flakes but bigger than they were not long ago.

Final one from me, need sleep! Still snowing heavily on the IOW hopefully will keep on for the next few hours and then I can take the kids for a sledge in the morning.

Nether stowey. Usually in the dreaded spot below the M4 - but the beast seems too have no respect for pre-determined barriers. Strange that we struggle for years - then all off a sudden its the sweet spot. Loving it, its perfect :)
