Beastie be gone, your time is up

I'm looking for sun, my Pimms to sup

You had your fun, you made me shiver

I confess at the thought of you, I was all a quiver

But I'm dreaming of roses and bare feet on grass now

So beastie be gone, you can bugger off, take a bow

Morning all a misty start after the overnight rainfall, radar suggesting some more today. Currently 10.6C very mild looking like today might go to the warmest day of the year to date.

Shift to cold after mid month continues to gain momentum as the ens begin to catch on!

Sigh. Bored of rain. Got so much to do but it involves going outside and I can’t be arsed. :nonono:

Perhaps best to wait for the run to finish but examining GFS temperatures, the colder conditions affect the North first (logically) and briefly spread down the spine of the rest of the Country. Could just end up being a Brief from the East. High pressure from the South looking a strong influence on anything full-on Easterly, in the reliable.

Presume you refer to the 06z not the 12z

For the benefit of the SW region, the cold shunts towards us but I don't see this as a snow event...

I would definitely not be taking much notice of one Op as gospel, especially the 06z. Best to wait for ens to see where it sits. The last few days have been pointing towards cold heading towards the UK. It’s finely balanced imho. The 00z continued that theme.

Sure, agree but it would be great if the GFS throws in the spanner  I want Spring. :D

It may be a dull day but we have just hit 13°c and just over a week ago we were struggling to get above freezing!

I’m in two minds about the potential cold. Would be nice to see more snow if we could but I’m also looking forward to some warmth.
