Morning all, not a bad start to the day here, bit of a frost, bright but overcast. Yesterday was lovely, warm, sunny and a real feel of spring too, many more days like it please.

I must admit last week's events made me forget that slack low pressure can actually provide beautiful weather, yesterday was dry and had plenty of sunshine and today looks like being the same. Then after a front tonight it could be similar again tomorrow.

Not a bad day, managed 11°C  with almost 7 hours of sunshine. I managed to do some garden tidying today, getting ready for Spring.

Another yellow warning for snow for parts of the Midlands and Wales Northwards tomorrow morning. I might just get a few flakes from that ... and for once, I don't want snow.  Temporary though it might be, the ground really needs to have a chance to warm up now.

it's weird how after the snow, everyone stops commenting like the only they are interested in winter weather, same with me though! it's crazy to think that last week, we were going through 10+ pages everyday and there has only been 1 page today

I haven’t been home today but apparently it was sunny all day. Did see a couple of showers while I was out.

Chilly morning with a touch of frost has preserved remaining snow around the garden and house and a much slower thaw of remaining snow patches today.

Current temperature 1.8c

Interesting cloud just now . There is a bank of black cloud and all of a sudden there looked to be a big updraft forming and  a small funnel forming . It was moving incredibly quickly so no chance to take a photo  .. but it looks rather connective out there .  

 

SW wind at 10mph , dp 0.6 C , temp 4.6 pressure 996 hPa this is from a station on the coast 10miles away . . But it will do . 

Storm force Beka i always found the  it rained on the school run . And school photograph day !
