Great day in the garden and watching the birds pinching the fur off the trunk of a trachycarpus tree!

Reached 23.1°C this afternoon and yet again blue skies all day.

Hit 26.4C this afternoon making it the warmest day of the year so far, beating April 19th's 25.1C. Cooled down noticeably this evening though, more so than yesterday evening and the cold front hasn't even arrived yet.

Indeed lol the barby today finished about an hour ago plenty of cremated sausages and burgers left out for all the wild life to tuck into overnight and the ice cream sellers takings must have soared.  Its all good, lovely weather and every ones happy.

After an overnight low of 9.8C temps are creeping up, currently 13.3C. Slight haze over he channel this morning, noticeable the wind direction has spun around as a prelude to the inbound weather later today.

Maxed out at 27.1 yesterday. Overnight low of 13 which is high for us. Looking like another day of warm, hazy sunshine

A sea breeze kept us slightly cooler than some areas this weekend, reaching 20.2C, 22.7C and 23.7C yesterday. Still very warm and lovely though.
Cool nights with mins 4.2C, 5.1C and 5.9C.

Much better than the North coast too, there were some big contrasts across the SW peninsula this weekend.

Fog this morning that has now lifted/thinned a little to low cloud, min 8.3C.

Highest temp was 26.8c yesterday around 3pm.
It stayed above 24c between 10am and 7pm.
It got quite hazy yesterday afternoon and evening and at 8am temp started to drop fast.
11.5c at 6am, now 16c.

Temp got to 22.2C and then the wind got up, and the temp plummeted!

Same here. 22.4°C at 11:43, now it’s 14.7°C.

Back up to 19.4°C now with a lighter breeze although it looks like more cloud approaching.

Fog lifted to low cloud around 10, blue bits appeared, briefly, around 12, then more cloud gathered, temperature dropped (as per Mapantz graph), suddenly the sun has reappeared with very little cloud and temperature at 17.1°C.  Not quite all four seasons in a day, but a very varied day.

Cor blimey Guv, the ol temperatures fallin rather quick, @2.9C/hr, noticeably cooler than when I arrived home a couple of hours ago..

Temps fell to 3.9 c overnight. Recovered to 10c already. Another bright morning which woke me up before 6am again. Typical after I've stopped doing early shifts.

Morning All, after an overnight low of 6.2C the temperatures are slowly climbing back to 14.8C. Well to tell it's the first week in May, the Starlings have arrived back and they are making a damn racket already, they are really noisy and given that there are more to come it's going to be bedlam here.

A sunny morning has given way to a much cloudier afternoon ahead of the rain later.

Feels quite a bit cooler today in the breeze although still pleasant. 13.4°C.

There is a perfect 360 degree halo around the sun in thin Cirrus, shame I can't get a decent picture!

It's a very British summer sky with pale blue, thickening Cirrus and scattered small Cumulus.
