High of 20.4°C so far. I could get used to this, looks like a few more days like it to come.  8)

Oh no, for the first time this year there’s a fly in the house.  :help:

Not really dripping here yet, still 20.2°C.

Hope I don't see any wasps this week, my worst enemy.

Don't you worry, I've seen many of those pests. :( Got stung in Mallorca 2 years ago.

Had a big one buzz into the kitchen while I was cooking tea. Gave it the benefit of a whack with my recipe book!

Points West forecast was speaking of a thundery breakdown Saturday night into Sunday.

Yes South Today just said the same. If thinweather has to end, which obviously it will do, then that’s the best way to do it.

Prognosis from NetW also shows a very speckled map suggesting a breakdown, but it looks initially M4 based ....Oops No that was for Friday mid afternoon. At the moment the suggestion is for early Sun Am in this area, but too far out yet to take anything for gospel.

Max this afternoon was 21.9°C, very pleasant in spite of the wind strength.

Possibility of thundery showers mentioned on Spotlight too, for Sunday.

We do seem to have jumped straight into summer. Still above 17c after 21.30 when we haven't reached 17c as a maximum this year before today!

Mornin All. looks like we are off to a good start temperature wise @ 11.5°C , and a clear blue sky with some slight haze over the channel, which I'm sure will lift in the next hour. Let's see how far we get temperature wise today, if we can manage another warm one tomorrow then we could really be in to British summer weather syndrome of 3 hot sunny days and then thunderstorms.....bring it on..

One noticeable feature about the warmth is the breeze that winds itself up during the day and drops away at night.

Scorchio! Reached 22C yesterday but felt ridiculously hot in comparison to recent temperatures. Seedlings suffering in the greenhouse! Its either too cold, too wet or too hot  lol!

Cannot complain in the main, the ground is, for the first time in 2018, drying out!
