I'm enjoying today's heavy bursts of rain. Hopefully more to come later!

7.6mm today. March at 118.6mm. 6.6°

How heavy is it, I was hoping for some thunder too maybe? @Mapantz

A new monthly rain record on this station: 121.4mm

A long way off of the record I had on my old station, back in January 2014, 240mm.

Hail shower day

Well, it would be cool if this came true from the forecast but I've never had hail foretasted and it happened. It's always a surprise when it happens.

Currently rainfall total on exactly 100mm which is the 3rd highest March total since 2000, will have to get above 148.5 of 2001 to be the wettest.  Highest record monthly total here 287.5 January 2014 which came after 240 in December 2013 and followed by 214.5 in February 2014.

Had a very brief hail shower just after the rain cleared.

Sorry, South of M4 dwellers, but I'm in a MetO warning zone for snow Monday. Would rather you have it!

Everyone okay?

More rain, rain and more rain. Allotment is just a quagmire mess.

Weather has been utter filth for both school runs today!

Very little bit of wintryness in the showers both this morning and afternoon (you could see a bit of sleet hitting the windscreen), nothing major by any means but goes to show that the conditions are maybe more borderline that you might imagine down here.

5.6°C and rising now it is getting brighter. 8.8mm of rain so far. 111mm for the month. It looks likely  that March will be the wettest month since owning this station.

I was looking back at the precip-type charts that were posted a couple of days ago.. every single one of them failed.

You posted at 11.11 and you had 111mm rain this month?
