Any snow can stay away for the next week, moving into my first house on Friday. Doesn't look like we're going to see any.... one positive is I'll be nearly 100m absl so should help during marginal events lol.

Yesterday was a really dull dampish one... better today with some sun but also some cloud around at the moment. 10.8C at present.

The models appear fairly wet or showery, already 153mm of precipitation this month (including snow water content).

OK open to leg pulling but here goes.....bird table going well,see hawks buzzards kestrels numerous owls [mainly hear] but.....I have never seen a Red Kite in the wild,quite prepared to travel so if they reside near you,any info gratefully received,anybody saying go to high ground on a windy day and you will see loads of kites will  be sentenced to 30 mins in the mad thread...you have been warned lol

Slow start this morning (not least because I overslept!) but been lovely since about 11. Feeling warm in the sun despite it only being 12C. Cold spell seems to have disappeared, not that I'm too bothered now, but the iPhone app has three lightning symbols for this week so maybe some convective weather to come instead. That is most certainly welcome!
