Well I went to work in a winter wonderland and came home on a chilly spring day, that snow went fast.....

That's something unusual for us - no snow anywhere showing up on the radar :nonono:

We've had a good time though, haven't we? It hasn't been only about the snow - but wow what snow! - it is also that every one of us could share it. That made it beautiful.

It really did go fast. Full Sunshine for most of today.

Not sure but for anyone that worry's about ground temperatures... that all fell after one of mildest winters on record in april.. :shok:

I vaguely remember an unremarkable one in terms of extremes. I think it was pretty settled. My memory might have distorted though. I've no (self) written record of the weather of that year.

I'm hoping for a good summer to balance out these late cold spells

Followed by a winter that starts in November and ends in march again..

I wonder if any of us would start to tire of the white stuff by then? unlikely for a few of us i dare say. :D

Yes I could. And very seriously, all the agricultural contingency will be used and our crops will be delayed.. could be a disaster for farmers. We all love the snow but we really don't want our Economy to take a hit through it. Having said that, we have seen this modelled for some time.... I'll take it for what it is if it happens I guess.

With the ECM and GFS sort of similar at 240hrs, it looks possible to me the ECM could also go the same way in bringing in a northerly for Easter weekend.

I'm hoping if there is snow it's after the 30th March as I'm travelling to Derby and back that day!
