Haha! Well looks like we have more or less all hit the jackpot for snow.

Salcombe has had another few cm overnight and doesn't look like it'll be stopping any time soon (albeit fairly light).

What an incredible event beast 2 has been - nowhere near as bitterly cold as beast 1 here, but what a snow machine!

Generally dry night until about 5 when we had some top up. It's really is something though when the likes if Torquay salcombe and exmouth get more snow than this part of dartmoor. All to do with the fact we face west here not east.

The last time in my life I felt so emotional about snow was back in, I think, Winter 1981. I had a sony walkman, and, walking in the snow with my huge camel coat on, was playing this. Good morning to all the snowy lands and their folk. It won't be long for the seedlings... it won't be long for the scorching Sun of Spring.

No snow day off work for us here ?

I didn't stay up a lot last night but the snow I did see was small and just not heavy enough. It' been a brilliant couple of days though. Unexpected so late in March.

Similar to Jtay with a few more inches, total is around 7 inches!

This is a staggering spell of weather, a once in goodness knows how many years occurrence!

Well it’s back to square one in my garden after the kids cleared it all yesterday ha ha. Not sure of had any melt overnight, but we’ve a good 5cm if fresh snow from that event. Absolutely bonkers! Kids schools are open which is a shame, but hey ho I’ll make do on my own ?. March 2018 will be hard to beat. 3 snow events in one winter is good, 3 in March is unheard of. Definitely will never forget this month!

EDIT: that means over a foot of snow has fallen this season for me ? on the south coast of Dorset ?

Woken up to a mixture of white gardens and roofs, and dangerously icy looking roads and pavements! Still hoping for a final few flurries in the next hour but nothing right now.

It's been a very good March here, nothing on what you've had Bournemouth west but enough to say we've joined in the fun!

Can anyone help me out please I’m looking for the archive radar images from yesterday evening through until this morning and my app does not go back that far so I can’t see how it all passed through

I saw radar images open till about 930 and I went to sleep about 10 so I’d like to see what actually happened how it progressed after dumping another 3 inches of snow on top of the already 14 cm that we had from the morning and previous night before that

Weather HD Pro app doesn’t show it  so any help would be greatly appreciated .

After last night's snow a grand total of 13cm. Kids happy they get a snow day other half and eldest daughter has to go to work. Those who are driving in today stay safe.

Snowing again down here. Not forecasted by the MO. Nice blob of pink coasting along the south on radar this morning.
