just looked outside still snowing thats 12 hours

Not had the great accumulations of other places but I've worked out it has been snowing lightly or moderately for 20 hours of this weekend so far. And some said it was going to be a dry easterly!

Eased off again here but still enough falling to keep gently topping up the snow level.

Wifey just gone to bed; i've promised i'll follow in 30 mins after just one more guinness. But at the age of 56 i'm a big kid when it comes to snow and i cant stop staring out of window watching it fall. Magical, just magical:D

Yea wife in GF in bed too, did not promise her anything lol, think she knows will not be going to bed till late. Its so rare, we might not see it for a while, so my attitude is no way am I missing it.  im deffo more excited than the kids,, they are kinda excited by it, good to be young at heart I suppose :)

Very jealous, zilch here so far from this band moving west although the heavy precipitation is so good damn close.

Sorry, been in your shoes many times. Hope the cards fall for you :)

I've been thinking that since about 8.30, and still it goes on, picked up yet again just now! If you're say two hours down stream from me, I'm guessing you've got a long way to go yet!

Looks like our snowfall will soon come to an end here for this cold snap. Will still be time for a crisp snowy walk with the dog in the the morning though!

So for me, I will be watching closely to see if the next opportunity being played with by the models for Easter weekend starts firming up, particularly as I have to drive up country!

We had about 4cm or so here in the New Forest...it gradually melted from the car park and the road but we still had quite an impressive icicle hanging from the gutter at dusk...then we had an hour or two of light snow that has settled on the car park again and mostly replenished the bits that were thinning...:-)

It's really intensifying on the radar along the coast of East Devon, so hopefully we'll get some more heavy snow in Exeter! Falling moderately with beautiful fluffy flakes currently

Shame the heavy bit just missed me but I'm just happy to see the amount I have, would've loved more of course.
