The road is getting whiter. Forecast radar showing some brighter echoes approaching the general area here and slightly Northwards. I expect the Hills will absorb another good dollop from this.

The brighter echoes look to be headed our way :) surprised me when I looked at the radar I thought the snow was done with us for the day.  Ice surprise

Actually it's pepping up once again in Portsmouth. Hopefully we will catch a little back build!

Darned road still won't go white though.

WRT Southampton, they had a fair bit this morning, so some of what is seen may be from that too?

The road in the first image was clear about an hour ago. Don't know about the other one.

A couple more cams, this time in Southampton. Seems they've done well there.

I'm just round the corner from that first one. It has been coming down heavy but very small flakes, road and pavement has gone white again.

Don't think we're gonna get much more looking at the radar but Dorset should do very well!

Any thoughts on where it goes from here. I keep running the radar sequence seeing if it's pivoting stalling or powering through. Riveting stuff.

Thoughts about Bristol/S Glos? No snow zone?

Looks very good on the home and dry radar, should be getting heavy snow very soon - for what thats worth.

It did kick off on the SE thread last night so I have no trouble believing that it's lovelier over here ;)

I’ve been reading this thread you are more gentler generally however knocker needs to sometimes be kept in his place Sidney must be solid ;-)

But we have an interesting lot in SE strong opinions I count myself with that lol..important to not sugar coat I’d say. Enjoy the snow once again you’re nicking it all again. Exeter the snow capital of the U.K. :D

Its all settling to lower level though, and tonight settling readily on the roads and pavements. I do see a (could be temporary) cutting off of the moisture into the streamer on the precip chart/anim. Could be a dodgy drive to work in the morning for the Cotswolds folk.

I think the more intense stuff is moving in just in time for Dorset!!

Do you feel this month has wiped out the pain of your big misses of the past 10 years??

You guys in Cheltenham yea?

I'm only 100meters, but in these non marginal set-ups elevation doesn't make that much difference.

radar is suggesting something heavier is on the way so perhaps an hour or so of more significant snowfall
