Light snow just started, right on cue with radar. A couple of hours ago you could see the front coming over from the east as a line of darker cloud.

ICE day here. Puddles of water in road have dried out. Now any new snow is going to plonk itself nicely and immediately.

Now snowing steadily here, laying on all surfaces for the first time (except in the heavier bands last night).

Haha I used to live in Portsmouth but moved 20 miles East to Chichester... I'd still call that Southern

Looking at the radar, the heavy stuff is heading west and slightly north. Be interesting to see where that hits. I'm thinking somewhere like Bridport?

We have lift off! Moderate snow is here. Selling well on the surfaces it did before. Road is still a struggle but it is starting to go. Is it going to slow down or whizz through?

The circulation over France providing our Thames streamer has some umph. Could push inland and pivot over all over us for hours.

It's a funny one as we're so close to the Sussex border, I post in the SE thread if I'm over that way but generally I find the SW thread lovelier, slower and more chilled. There's a few of us here but E Hants folk seem to be rare.
