What's the northern extent of this Steve? Recon the northern parts of the region will see much?

Took a break from the radar this afternoon to focus on sport. While I was outside clearing the car I noticed that the NE wind had once again picked up. Checked the radar and well, round 2 is just on my doorstep!

Unexpected.

Ok!! WTF moment

that constant stream of moisture that’s entering the south coast around Portland... just into the channel, do my eyes deceive me or is it expanding

Expanding. Was watching this too.

Most likely a response to the area moving in from the SE providing some further uplift.

We've had quite a thaw here in Poole today. Mainly on tarmac and concrete. Presumably because of the surface temps and how wet the ground was. But still a fair amount remains. More snow will sort that! I just hope it stays around so I can play when I get home from work tomorrow lol

Time to fire up the espresso machine and put the beer away! :D

This looks great for you all in the sw. I think the Euro 4 is underdoing amounts by the way!

Lol I think I need to put the radar down for a while, I’ve used about 6000% of battery today, I can hear my electric meter spinning. Got my fingers crossed we all get lucky here tonight ?

you need to spend more time in our thread Nick, as a demand to put the beer away to us is tantamount to a declaration of war!

Looking like quite an organised mass of snow now! We want to see this band become thicker and extend as far north as possible to keep us under snowfall for the night when the low pivots and moves south!

A good 5 inches still laying on our 2 glass topped garden tables, 3 ish inches on the grass, nothing on patio and paths, roads melted and icy. It's been fascinating watching the melting process today.

Max of 0.2c and falling at -1.7c now, can scarecely believe more is on the way!
