I'm not liking the look of that gap over Devon and Cornwall. Someone please tell me it's early and we're still going to get hammered later.

It's still looking good for you. You have another hour or so before it should hit. Good luck.

Urm we’ve had a fair bit of snow.. more than the first beast from east maybe? I would say a good 6ins? But haven’t bothered to go outside. looking at the radar though think we are coming out of it. What was forecast for most of the day I think has got through. Wasn’t expecting that much. It is though I think quite wet so not sure how today’s temps will fair with it etc. It is quite beautiful and am tempted to get up and go for an earliesh walk . Don’t think the neddies will be ridden anyhow this morn. Enjoy those to the west of me. You’ve fun to come .

Couldn't resist another one. This is shaping up quite nicely...

Thanks ECM. I'd really like to do a bit better than 2 weeks ago. Here on SW Dartmoor we ended up with a light dusting due to high winds. I was gutted. ??

Think you have been a bit unlucky with initial snow going to your north but as this comes back down you should have a few hours of heavy stuff. Feel your frustration tho. Happened here a few years ago when it all went 50 miles north.

I'd say a couple of inches in Winchester.. Watching a blob of heavier stuff on the radar hoping for a bit more but think it will move beyond us soon

Obviously nowhere near as deep as March 1st for me atm, but still damn decent. Still snowing nicely

Meanwhile in the southern channel isle, it’s rain, just sat in the centre of the LP watching it rotate around spinning snow out to everyone else on the radar.....Maybe tomorrow very similar to last time. All very disappointing though.

It's been fantastic here in South Glos in the hour since I woke up. Continuous heavy snow has added a couple more cm's in no time.

Absolutely ECM.  Surprised you've even got to think about it. I disowned both of mine by the age of ten. Netweather is the only snow family I've got left now ???

Woke up to a nice covering and thought that's good, but the back edge is probably passed now, at least I've got enough to test the SnowRing with my niece!

then looked at radar :0:0:0..,,.

looks like the main zone is further east than forecast plenty of ppn coming up from the south.

Could end up with a decent depth!

Amazeballs ;)

A tiny covering here and now it' all going up beside me missing us completely.

I feel your pain Sherrie. Thought I had a bit less than a cm this morning, which is pretty sad but now it's light, I can see it's only a dusting ??? but there is still hope for us later apparently. Keep the faith. ??

The ppn is expected and should pep up once the colder air digs in from behind as the winds veer more easterly

Woke up around half an hour ago to a nice covering of several centimeters, and it's still snowing. :D Got icicles hanging from the street lights again too!

Can't believe after years of no lying snow, we've now had two events in as many weeks. And it's not even winter!
