best thing about beast mk1 is that the main event was through the day, iits hard to sleep through a once in blue moon event.

perhaps will have some gin.

thought this could be a dream weekend, Liverpool winning, Salah becoming Liverpool highest scorer debut season,  snow and gin.

just needed United to lose, looks like Moaninho is about ready for another breakdown. Thought my luck was really in, nearly bought a lottery ticket.

Overview of my street: Downstairs lights on in one house, bedroom lights on in another, everyone else is pitch black!

I'm a bit concerned the neighbours might start wondering what's going on as I keep going out there and putting the light on.

Chances are Matt, that they don't give a monkey's and are fast asleep.

Same here that's why I'm doing an all nighter, even though I'm cooking Sunday lunch tomorrow haha.

Settling on grass and cars, will be settling on roads shortly! Guess the 4 hours sleep I got earlier will have to do...

We will just have to support each other's eyelids tomorrow then.

I'm amazed by those holes at the centres of your slabs. Have the same here. Must be an artifact of the thermodynamic properties of a slab of concrete. I'm geekly fascinated :D

Time to get a couple of hours kip. It doesn't look like much will change now. Precip just doesn't want to get going. The heavy snow symbols have been removed from the forecast, and even show sleet by mid-morning.

The wind has dropped right down too - very quiet.

Probably, unless there's any fellow weather nuts living round here. With an average age of about 70 probably not.

I was just looking out of the window lamp post watching and to my horror saw this dodgy looking geezer looking directly back at me and he was wearing a ridiculous cookie monster onesie!.....Imagine my relief when I realised it was just my reflection

Never sure whether I'm in SE or SW. Kind of in between here in Reading! Anyway, 6-7cm here now and still going. For once we're in a sweet spot! Just for good measure, a picture of Christmas Common in the Chilterns, one of my favourite go to places when we have snow.

I just realised - it's probs the concrete and/or sand below. Different heat index materials.
