Well it does look to be intensifiing as it's building west.

plus its early doors, it wouldn't surprise me if we ended up with a decent covering come Sunday morning,  it will be a case of watching the radar and seeing how the night unfolds :)

nowcasting is always my favourite.

forget your bet and enjoy the 4 inches by tomorrow ;)

Hmm looking at various snow prediction models that have been posted and the radar, looks a bit knife edge for Stroud/Glos! Hoping the Cotswolds can be our friend pepping stuff up. To far south of the M4 a bad possibility for us tonight! Don’t hear that often...

Good luck to everyone, nice to see this region in the zone again, even if we don’t all get it. It’s the middle of bloody March too! What a winter, I first saw lying snow on Dec 10th, and have had dozens of frosts in the little ‘hollow’ I live in. Great!

I'm not holding out much hope for here. We've had showers on and off all day and nothing has settled. Even when the radar shows we are under ppn it isn't snowing this eve lol. I trust met office. We are outside the Amber warning. I think it will be a dusting

i know lots of snow is coming from the east earlier on tonight but i thought it was coming from france?

Still here . . . still lurking :)

We had proper snow for an hour or so early afternoon, now just the odd fleck is floating around, as it has been most of the day.  

I don't have a lamppost, but the IR lamps on the webcam pick up EVERYTHING.  Tiny amounts of snizzle look like a blizzard.  It's just reached 0.0c, down from 4.0c at noon. DP -2.5c

Well, the moisture plume (which also carries warmth - very important) is coming From France. But the flow of cold is coming from the East - a bitterly cold flow.

Where they meet, its murder! .. SNOW!

Snow getting slightly heavier now. My met office weather app is pants, not even supposed to be snowing at the moment lol. #nowcast
