The soil temps are still low, it takes sometime for the ground to start holding heat again.........

Full sun and 13.5C will definitely help to push them up though, even now.

15C max'd today in bright warm sunshine, what can ruin this??

You made 15°C over there while it struggled to 11°C here around lunchtime and since then it’s been sat around 9°C all afternoon with a cool breeze. Still feels pleasant when sheltered though.

Lovely sunny day here now. Hard to believe the beast is lurking in the shadows

Though I hate to say it, do you remember the stunning weather we had - pre beast?

Hello Georgie,

Word is, there might be another cold blast this weekend. It will certainly be colder than it is now. Snow might be a factor too but so far, the experts are squabbling over the location that the exact conditions for snow will be. Its not quite as cut and dried as the last beast - but nonetheless, it is coming from the East so will be a time (couple of days) for the scarf, hat, gloves and big coat to come out again.
