The odd rumble, stuck in between 2 storms. What have we got to do to get a proper storm these days!!

I bet the water is now a yellowish tinge from all the Turmeric and ghee that gets put down the drains there.

I am really miffed whats going on in the North west re thunderstorms, last few years apart from the july supecell of 2015 have been almost non existent,  last time I heard thunder was last May.  its getting on my nerves now  ,   it cant be bad luck so many times ,  can it ?

Got a spell of heavy rain but no thunder and it didn't last long, I'm not surprised with the flooding in the midlands there was some real cracker storms showing on the radar earlier in the afternoon...we're just to far north for these to affect us.  Radar's dead now, and I won't be surprised if we don't get much chance of t-storms through next week when the south does.

As expected its absolutely stifling here. Still 17c at midnight. In what world is that pleasant?

It feels positively tropical right now in the south east, I feel like I'm on holiday

An absolutely fantastic days weather here on Sunday and not a drop of rain until after dark which even then hardly wet the ground.

just a shame that someone decided to have a full blown rave in their garden, finding ten hours of the crappest music ever put together and then blasting it through a speaker the size of a garden shed.

what is it with this obsession that hot weather and loud music must go together.

I wont be surprised either ,  just dont get it , because its not like the North West never got storms anyway , we did , through the 70's 80' and 90, and even early 2000's  7 or 8 thunder days would have been an average count for my location , and a couple of those  thunder days would be corkers whilst some would just be the odd rumble, but they happened ,   I am really  starting think this silly talk of 'storm shields' is actually true    , and one has been set in place in the north West   ,   seriously though something has changed meteorologicaly , it cant be bad luck over and over

What a Cracking start to the Day clear skies and warm Sunshine Temperatures responding nicely Currently 19c Forecast a High of 24c

A very small chance of A Thunder Storm late afternoon However according to the Met Office App there is only a 10% Possibility

1 of the most bizarrely drawn warnings I think I have ever seen!

I'll take it though if it means getting our first proper storm for about 5 years!

Upside down wishbone.

I’m quite happy to be outside of the warning area and basking in sunshine but i’ll cross a couple of fingers for you.
